Our love for food, family, and great times is reflected in our fun, friendly atmosphere.

Dino and Marilynne Sita met here on the Sunshine Coast way back in 1977 when good friend Art Dew brought Dino to Gibsons for a weekend shaker. The rest is history. Dino and Marilynne were married on the coast in November 1983 but spent their first twelve years together in Vancouver working for Jostens Canada. Thoughts of fulfilling their life-long dream of opening their own restaurant brought them back to Gibsons, Marilynne's home town.

As many of you know their first successful venture was The Old Boot Eatery Ltd. in Sechelt, started by Dino in 1995. Together, Dino and younger brother Dan worked their magic for twelve years at that location and built a very successful Italian eatery.

After selling his interest in The Boot to brother Dan in 2006, Dino and Marilynne decided to create another friendly, energetic dining spot for friends and families in Gibsons. Together with daughters Danica and Skyler they opened the doors in December 2007. Located in Lower Gibsons overlooking Howe Sound in a newly-renovated historic building was Sita's Spag Shack. Thanks to our faithful followers, the shack was so popular that when a late-2010 opportunity arose to move up the hill to Andy’s Plaza, a much larger venue, we just had to grab it!

Our new look and location have given us another dimension through which to grow and provided much-needed space. With a twenty-eight seat fully-licensed lounge, eighty-five seat main-dining area and a thirty-five seat private meeting / banquet room we are ideally suited to serve you and your company, large or small. Family, great staff, good friends and doing something you love… priceless!
